 Claire Barry: Finance Manager

Claire is responsible for managing all aspects of the Finance function here at CDI.  She holds a BSc in Human Communications with Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology.  More recently she has completed all of her Chartered Accountancy exams and is currently in the process of applying for membership to the Institute.

Michelle Butler: Strategy & Corporate Services Manager

Michelle is responsible for managing CDI’s strategic and corporate services functions. She supports and drives the development of CDI’s strategic and business planning, supports programme delivery, monitors funding opportunities and supports the interpretation and appropriate dissemination of CDI’s evaluation results. She has managed Fingal County Childcare Committee and been head of Childcare Services in Trinity College. Michelle holds a MBA in Business Administration and recently qualified with a post grad certificate in Implementation Science.

Claire Casey: Restorative Practices Programme Coordinator

Claire has worked in Community Development for over 20 years.  She is responsible for the implementation of the Restorative Practices Programme.  Claire holds a BSc and a postgraduate Diploma in Adult and Community Education and is currently undertaking a Masters in Restorative Practices, at Ulster University.

 Grainne Davitt: Primary Care to Hospital Coordinator

Gráinne is working with the CDI Ante Natal to Three Initiative and is responsible for building connections between primary health care, G.P.s, and the maternity hospitals.  She has previously worked in a therapeutic family support programme in Dun Laoghaire .  Gráinne has also worked in projects that support young people’s participation in education in Dublin, Cork and San Francisco.  She holds a B. Social Science degree, a M.A. in European Studies, a H. Dip in Education, a Certificate in Culture and Society and a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Protection and Welfare.

Elaine Fagan: Parenting Specialist

Elaine is responsible for supporting CDI’s work with early years’ services, primary care and specialist services working with children, parents and families. With over 13 years’ experience supporting children & families presenting with complex needs and is passionate about early intervention. Elaine holds a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and is an Accredited Play Therapist.

Elaine has worked in a variety of settings including primary schools, early years’ services in both Ireland and Australia, voluntary organisations, primary schools, community centres and in private practice.

Anna Lamprecht: Speech and Language Therapist

As a Speech and Language Therapist with CDI, Anna works with six early years preschools in the Tallaght West area providing onsite Speech and Language Therapy services. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Therapy from Trinity College.

Holly McGann: Administrative Assistant

Holly provides administration assistance to the management and team in CDI and has over ten years experience working as an Administrator in various different organisations including Business & Finance Magazine.  Holly holds a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Secretarial Studies and also a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in European and Language Studies.

Linda Mulally: Administrative Assistant

Linda grew up in Tallaght and has worked as an administrator for almost 15 years where she has gained valuable experience.  She provides administration support to the team at CDI team. Linda has worked in various organisations including Repak Ltd and holds a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Communications, Public Relations and Journalism and a FETAC Level 5  in Computer Studies.

Paddy O’Feich: Research Officer

Paddy is the Research Officer here at CDI.  Paddy is a mixed-methods researcher who holds a PhD in Psychology.  He has a long history of working in the community sector in a variety of different capacities, including research, administrative and educational roles.

Marian Quinn: Chief Executive Officer

Marian’s career has been focused on children, young people and families. She has worked in the Health Services Executive and the Department of Justice as well as working directly with young people in both community youth services and Youthreach. Marian holds a Masters in Adult Education, a BSc Honours in Youth and Community Work and is a qualified Life and Business Coach. Marian is also a Board member of the Children’s Hospital Group, and the Airfield Trust.

Michelle Quinn: Acting Senior Speech and Language Therapist

As a Speech and Language Therapist with CDI, Michelle is responsible for the delivery of CDI’s on site Speech and Language Therapy Service. Michelle currently works with three preschools and three primary schools in the Tallaght West Area. Michelle has a BA in Linguistic and Sociology, an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy and a PG Dip in Child Language and Communication from the University of Sheffield.

Gráinne Smith: Family Links Coordinator

As the Family Links Coordinator, Gráinne leads and supports the development of a prison wide collaboration between the IPS, CDI and Parents Plus Charity which aimes to support prisoners to have a positive relationship with their families.  Gráinne is skilled in engaging people in developmental processes and involving clients in identifying solutions. Prior to starting in CDI, Gráinne worked with the Irish Aid agency GOAL on two projects in Darfur, North Sudan and North Uganda. Gráinne holds a BSc in Nursing Science and a Masters in Education.

Andy Battell: Restorative Practices

Originally from England, Andy holds a B.A (Hons) in Independent and Youth Studies from Lancaster University and worked for the NHS for many years, as a Training Consultant.

Andy managed The Waterford Pathways Project for Early School Leavers for 10 years and also The School Completion Programme (SCP) na Siuire, in Waterford City and South Kilkenny.

In 2000, he achieved Practitioner status with The Mediators Institute of Ireland (M.I.I) and is also a Certified Trainer and Trainer of Trainers with the International Institute of Restorative Practice (IIRP)
