Claire has worked in Community Development for over 20 years. She is responsible for the implementation of the Restorative Practices Programme. Claire holds a BSc and a postgraduate Diploma in Adult and Community Education and is currently undertaking a Masters in Restorative Practices, at Ulster University.
Alice Coghlan: Speech and Language Therapist

Alice is a Speech and Language Therapist with CDI, based in Early Years settings across Tallaght West. Alice has a BA in Psychological Studies, Sociology and Politics from the National University of Ireland, Galway and an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Limerick. As part of her clinical training, Alice has worked in a variety of HSE settings including Paediatric Primary Care, Early Intervention Services and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services across Limerick, Donegal, Clare and Mayo.
Grainne Davitt: Ante-Natal to Three Initiative (ATTI) Coordinator

Gráinne is working with the CDI Ante Natal to Three Initiative and is responsible for building connections between primary health care, G.P.s, and the maternity hospitals. She has previously worked in a therapeutic family support programme in Dun Laoghaire . Gráinne has also worked in projects that support young people’s participation in education in Dublin, Cork and San Francisco. She holds a B. Social Science degree, a M.A. in European Studies, a H. Dip in Education, a Certificate in Culture and Society and a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Protection and Welfare.
Elaine Fagan: Parenting Specialist

Elaine is responsible for supporting CDI’s work with early years’ services, primary care and specialist services working with children, parents and families. With over 13 years’ experience supporting children & families presenting with complex needs and is passionate about early intervention. Elaine holds a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and is an Accredited Play Therapist.
Elaine has worked in a variety of settings including primary schools, early years’ services in both Ireland and Australia, voluntary organisations, primary schools, community centres and in private practice.
Holly McGann: Administrator

Holly provides administration to the management and team in CDI and has over ten years experience working as an Administrator in various different organisations including Business & Finance Magazine. Holly holds a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Secretarial Studies and also a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in European and Language Studies.

Linda grew up in Tallaght and has worked as an administrator for almost 15 years where she has gained valuable experience. She provides administration support to the team at CDI team. Linda has worked in various organisations including Repak Ltd and holds a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Communications, Public Relations and Journalism and a FETAC Level 5 in Computer Studies.
Ciara NicCarthaigh: Business Development Manager

Ciara is responsible for the development and delivery of CDI’s business development strategy. Ciara has over 12 years’ experience in the non-profit profession in Ireland and overseas. Over the past six years, as a senior manager and as a consultant, her work has focused on providing strategic and operational support to organisations and programmes working on child rights, education and early literacy. She has an MSc in Development Studies and is currently completing a PhD in education on early literacy and language with UCD.
Marian Quinn: Chief Executive Officer

Marian’s career has been focused on children, young people and families. She has worked in the Health Services Executive and the Department of Justice as well as working directly with young people in both community youth services and Youthreach. Marian holds a Masters in Adult Education, a BSc Honours in Youth and Community Work and is a qualified Life and Business Coach. Marian is also a Board member of the Children’s Hospital Group, and the Airfield Trust.
Michelle Quinn: Senior Speech and Language Therapist

As a Speech and Language Therapist with CDI, Michelle is responsible for the delivery of CDI’s on site Speech and Language Therapy Service. Michelle currently works with three preschools and three primary schools in the Tallaght West Area. Michelle has a BA in Linguistic and Sociology, an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy and a PG Dip in Child Language and Communication from the University of Sheffield.

Tara Scott: Programme Manager

Tara Scott is Programme Manager, collaborating with CDI management and stakeholders to support the delivery of CDI’s programmes. Tara holds a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and Health Studies with BPS recognition. Tara has ten years experience in Child and Family Welfare, Health and Education, working with and developing a wide range of services. Tara has worked in a professional and voluntary capacity across Ireland and London, for the Mayor of London’s office, in Islington Council, Haringey Council and Hackney Learning Trust.
